Aline Désormeaux, CPA
Aline Désormeaux is a founding partner of the accounting firm Désormeaux Patenaude Inc. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from UQAM and is a member of the Ordre des comptables professionnels du Québec (Order of Professional Accountants of Quebec).
A chartered professional accountant since 1992 (formerly a chartered accountant), she practiced at the firm Lussier Séguin CPA, s.e.n.c.r.l. from 1987 to 2015, initially as an auditor and then as a partner in 2004.
In early 2016, she co-founded the firm Désormeaux Patenaude Inc. with Jasmin Patenaude. She specializes in providing assurance, review, and compilation services. In addition to being a partner in this firm, she has been an instructor at the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM) since the fall of 2016, where she teaches financial management for co-ownerships. Previously, she taught this course for four years at McGill University.
She is a member of the board of directors and the audit committee of Garantie Construction Résidentielle (GCR) and a member of the board of directors of the Regroupement des gestionnaires et copropriétaires du Québec (RGCQ). In addition to participating in various RGCQ committees, she writes articles for Condolegal.
