Electrical charging stations in multi-residential buildings
The electrification of transportation is just around the corner, but a key question remains: when we live in a condo, where can we plug in our electric vehicles? This question is often asked by co-owners living in one of the 350,000 co-ownerships in Quebec.
L'AVEQ (Association de véhicules électriques du Québec), in collaboration with the RGCQ (Regroupement des gestionnaires et copropriétaires du Québec) and the web plateform Murbly, will be offering free webinars on charging stations in co-ownerships.
One webinar will be aimed to inform co-ownership managers and the other will be designed for building directors (membres of the board). These information sessions will allow everyone to: establish a broad outline of a charging station project adapted to their building, learn about the steps leading to the installation of a charging station, discover examples of similar successful projects, as well as to have the opportunity to ask questions about the needs in the context of their co-ownership in order to obtain clear and accurate answers.
These webinars will answer questions such as what is a power source, how are charging costs calculated, how does the layout of a building determine the installation approach, and who should be contacted to perform the installation. These webinars be hosted by Marie-Pier Corbeil, expert in condominium charging solutions and co-founder of the Murbly platform. Please note that these events are in French only.
