A new phenomenon is shaping Quebec's co-ownership market. Standardised contingency fund studies will radically change the field of your co-ownership's management. Here at the RGCQ the concept has been in development for quite some time. After two years of refining this project, a committee has established a final basis on which to elaborate contingency fund studies. Henceforth, companies specialised in this field will be able to apply this method, with the certificate of acknowledgement delivered by the RGCQ.

The RGCQ is also working on the maintenance log.
The maintenance log is a novelty introduced by Bill 16. While were waiting for governmental regulations to be announced, the RGCQ has defined an in house standard with what we believe should be included in the maintenance log. You can review the conclusions of our committee in the document bellow. Please note that this document will be reviewed and updated in accordance with the dispositions that will appear in future law. While we wait for these precisions, this document has been made available for information purposes in order to help you better understand this new obligation. This document only reflects the suggestions our committee has made regarding maintenance logs and is not an official governmental document.
