General meetings and deconfinement : Follow-up on the situation

Assemblées et déconfinement : le point sur la situation

Montreal, June 15, 2021 - After several exchanges, the RGCQ has obtained precise and up-to-date information from the Ministère de la Santé et des Services sociaux on the organization of co-ownership meetings.

In all zones, it is permitted to organize a meeting of up to 250 people in a room rented for the occasion or in a community room (which may be in the co-ownership).

Throughout these meetings, the following guidelines must be observed:

  • Participants must be seated during the meeting;

  • A distance of two metres must be maintained at all times between persons residing at different addresses;

  • A mask must be worn while travelling, but may be removed for speaking or when participants are seated and not speaking.

If the syndicate wants to organize its meeting in the common outdoor areas, the rules for outdoor gatherings in private places apply. In yellow zones, a maximum of 8 people, or all the occupants of two residences, can meet, and must always respect the basic sanitary measures.

If the syndicate wants to organize their meetings in private areas in the co-ownership, the rules relative to indoor gatherings in private places apply. In yellow zones, indoor gatherings are limited to the occupants of two residences, while respecting basic sanitary measures.
